Qualifications:
BE Mechanical
Experience of up to 4 to 10 years
Software Knowledge: Excel, Word & PowerPoint, AutoCAD (Basic Knowledge)
Job Summary:
Responsible for engineering design integrity, technical leadership, and execution of piping systems for projects. The role involves code compliance, layout engineering, material selection, stress coordination, multidisciplinary coordination, and mentoring of junior engineers and designers to deliver safe, efficient, and cost‑optimized piping systems.
Key Responsibilities/ Skills:
Lead piping engineering activities from concept, basic, and detailed engineering phases.
Preparation of Spec & datasheet for Piping materials, valves, fittings, and specialty items
Strong Expertise on piping ASME / other codes / PESO and guidelines, Stress engineering concepts and piping flexibility
Lead, guide, and mentor piping engineers, designers, and modelers to ensure timely and quality delivery. Establish and implement engineering best practices and lessons learned.
Support technical bid evaluation, estimation, and cost optimization.
Resolve complex technical queries, deviations, and design changes.
Review and approve – Design and piping deliverables.
Resource planning according to project requirement and provide the inputs to other disciplines.
