Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Process CAD Designer to support our engineering
team in preparing and developing process design drawings. The role involves creating Process
Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;) using AutoCAD / AutoCAD
Plant 3D while ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.
Qualifications:
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Drafting. CAD
certification will be an added advantage.
1–5 years of experience in process drafting, plant design, or engineering consultancy. Experience
in EPC or process industries will be preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams
(P&IDs;)
- Drafting and modification of process drawings using AutoCAD / AutoCAD Plant 3D (Smart
P&ID;)
- Ensure drawings comply with project standards and engineering specifications
- Update drawings based on engineering inputs and revisions
- Coordinate with process engineers and project teams
- Maintain proper documentation and drawing records
- Support project teams with technical drawings and design documentation
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD / AutoCAD Plant 3D (Smart P&ID;)
- Good understanding of PFDs and P&IDs;
- Knowledge of process plant drawings and drafting standards
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good coordination and communication skills
