Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil / Structural professional to support the design and detailing of industrial plant buildings and structures. The role involves structural design, preparation and review of engineering drawings, coordination with designers and multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring accurate project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop structural solutions for industrial plant buildings, sheds, and associated structures.
• Prepare and review structural drawings, layouts, foundation drawings, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Provide technical inputs and design information to designers for preparation of detailed drawings.
• Check and review detailed structural drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate structural requirements with Civil, Piping, Mechanical, Electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Support preparation and review of structural engineering deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify design issues and coordinate with the engineering team to resolve technical and detailing challenges.
• Ensure drawings and design deliverables are completed within project schedules and quality requirements.
Required Technical Skills
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles.
• Experience in industrial plant building, shed, and structural design and detailing.
• Good understanding of structural drawings, foundations, steel and RCC structures.
• Ability to interpret engineering inputs and convert them into accurate design and detailing outputs.
• Strong drawing checking, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Software Requirements
• STAAD.Pro – required
• RCDC – required / preferred
• AutoCAD – required
• Revit – preferred
Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant Civil / Structural Engineering discipline.
Experience
3–8 years of relevant experience in Civil / Structural Design and Detailing. Experience in industrial plant projects is preferred.
