Job Summary
Responsible for independent execution and technical supervision of Fire and HVAC drawing and 3D model activities on industrial projects. The role involves layout space planning, 3D modelling, drawing control, interdisciplinary coordination, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
• Selection of Fire and HVAC equipment.
• Preparation and review of 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Design of supports for fire piping and HVAC ducting.
• Clash detection and collaborative resolution using coordinated project models.
• Development and maintenance of a comprehensive database for HVAC and Fire equipment, piping, ducting, and related engineering documents.
• Standardization of engineering practices, templates, and design documentation.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, project requirements, and applicable codes during engineering and design activities.
• Coordinate with vendors, project teams, and stakeholders for timely resolution of technical queries.
• Support engineering deliverables through design verification and document control processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for engineering efficiency and quality enhancement.
Technical Requirements
• Working experience in Revit MEP is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of Fire & HVAC layout and modelling activities.
• Ability to independently execute drawings and 3D modelling activities.
• Good understanding of interdisciplinary coordination and clash resolution.
• Ability to work as per project specifications, applicable codes, and engineering standards.
