Job Summary
We are looking for a Desktop Engineer responsible for day-to-day desktop and laptop support, hardware and driver troubleshooting, software installation, and end-user technical assistance. The role requires strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and practical troubleshooting skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide day-to-day technical support for desktop and laptop users.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain desktop and laptop hardware.
• Provide support for Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware-related issues and identify root causes.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot device drivers and peripherals.
• Install and configure user-required software and applications.
• Support users with basic software and system-related issues.
• Maintain proper records and Excel-based trackers for IT support activities.
• Coordinate with users to resolve technical issues within the required timeframe.
Required Skills
• Good knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems – Mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware.
• Good understanding of device drivers and driver installation/troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of user software installation and configuration.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel – Mandatory.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and user-support skills.
