Job Summary
We are looking for a Process CAD Technician to support the Process Engineering team in preparing, updating, and maintaining accurate engineering drawings and project documentation. The role involves working closely with Process Engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and update PFDs, P&IDs, Plot Plans, Equipment Layouts, and other process-related drawings.
- Draft and revise engineering deliverables using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
- Coordinate with Process Engineers and other disciplines for drawing development, modifications, and project documentation.
- Incorporate engineering review comments and maintain proper drawing revisions and document control.
- Ensure drawings are prepared in accordance with applicable engineering standards and project requirements.
- Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality of CAD deliverables.
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Exposure to Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, or Process Plant projects.
- Good understanding of engineering drawing standards and processes.
- Ability to interpret engineering inputs and convert them into accurate CAD drawings.
- Good coordination and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work within project timelines.
